What is Mixed Doubles?
Mixed teams are compromised men and women who combine their NTRP rating to make their mixed level. Levels offered locally are 6.0, 7.0, 8.0, and 9.0. Teams compete locally to advance to state and sectional championships. 18+ and 40+ must play a local league to advance to State Championships. 55+ and 65+ may advance directly to the State Championships if there is only one team registered at that specific level. A team match consists of three individual doubles matches. Players may play in multiple levels and age groups during the same season. Team roster must have a minimum of three possible pairings whose NTRP rating is equal to the level of the mixed team. Each team will have between 4 to 7 matches, usually 1 match a week over 7 weeks. Odd number of teams may have 2 matches on some weeks.

These mixed teams provide competitive play through the National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP). Players that do not have a current computer rating may self-rate in order to participate.
